Storer Lectureship in the Life Sciences Series

Ruth and Tracy Storer in 1968, on her 80th birthday.

The Tracy and Ruth Storer Lectureship in the Life Sciences is the most prestigious of the endowed seminars at UC Davis. Established in 1960, the Lectureship is made available through a gift from Professor Tracy I. Storer and Dr. Ruth Risdon Storer for the purpose of bringing eminent biologists from other institutions to participate in the academic community of the Davis campus. Their donation has made it possible to invite distinguished biological scientists who have established an exemplary body of work over their career to the Davis campus to present two lectures and meet with faculty members and graduate students in their field of interest. Past Storer Lectures have included Nobel laureates, members of the National Academy of Science and acclaimed authors in the life sciences and medicine.
